After showcasing some of the best young MMA talent in the world, CXF ceases operation. As the years go by, many other promotions try to replace the void left by CXF, but mostly fail.

The power duo of Lights Out Promotions & Bash Entertainment breathes new life into the sport, and CXF resumes with a rebirth and restarts a prestigious run as one of the top MMA promotions in California.
2019
CXF is reimagined and rebranded into Lights Out Xtreme Fighting (LXF) in partnership with NFL legend and three-time All-Pro linebacker Shawne "Lights Out" Merriman.
