Lights Out Xtreme Fighting (LXF) produces premier MMA events focused on developing the next great stars of the sport.

Headed by NFL legend and three-time All-Pro linebacker Shawne "Lights Out" Merriman, the elite fight series features unique, fan-friendly experiences, including crossover bouts (athletes from other sports stepping into the cage as fighters), tournaments, title bouts and local grudge matches in both men and women divisions.

LXF is a reimagination of the long popular California Xtreme Fighting (CXF) league.

Merriman—a lifelong MMA fan—collaborated with partners and co-owners Steven Bash and George Bastrmajyan, two of the most respected combat sports promoters in the world, to bring a raw brand identity and innovative show layout that will air on television for Fox Sports West and Prime Ticket.

Merriman, Bash and Bastrmajyan plan to revolutionize the way MMA is viewed and consumed by claiming authority as the premier MMA promotion in Southern California, delivering the most polished and preeminent fights in the Golden State.

LXF is the culmination of 14 years overseeing the careers of past and present elite fighters and capturing the best practices of over 100 live fight events and promotions.
